About the author

Before purchasing the CD-ROM, you may wish to try these free lessons: check the list of lessons below, to see where you fit in. If you are a beginner you should do all of the lessons completely without skipping anything.

Your browser should be open full screen, and set to view images. Also, many of the musical examples are playable by using your browser's MIDI plug-in. I'd recommend downloading the QuickTime plug-in (available for both Macintosh and Windows), as that seems to produce the best results.

"I first heard about your product while attending college.  Dr. Sue Talley recommended it to all her students. I took her advice, visited the site and reviewed your program.  I enjoyed it so much I purchased a CD-ROM.  I firmly believe that this is a great product for anyone interested in learning music theory - no matter their age."
